In Loving Memory of
Rose (Beatrice) Martin
(23rd September 1939 - 15th June 2023)
A Life Full of Love, Family, and Cherished Memories
Rose Martin was a devoted wife, a loving mum, a treasured nan, and a proud great-nan whose life was centred around family. She passed away peacefully on 15th June 2023, surrounded by those she loved most, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, strength, loyalty, and unconditional love.
Known officially as Beatrice (though she preferred Rose!), she had a wonderful sense of humour and a personality that made everyone feel welcome. To those who knew her best, she was the heart of the family — the person everyone turned to in times of celebration, challenge, or simply for a chat and a cup of tea.
Rose believed that almost anything could be solved over a good cuppa. Whether it was sharing advice, listening without judgement, or simply offering comfort, she had a remarkable ability to make everything feel a little better.
But above all else, Rose's greatest love was her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her world. Fiercely loyal and endlessly protective, she was often compared to a lioness with her cubs — nothing came between Rose and the people she loved. Her dedication to her family was legendary, and her love knew no limits.
She leaves behind her sons, Lewin and Stevie, daughter Mary, grandchildren Lena, Sarah and Jake, great-grandchildren Callum, Max and Louie, and countless family members and friends whose lives were enriched by knowing her.
Though she is no longer with us, her love continues to live on in every story shared, every family gathering, every cup of tea enjoyed in her memory, and every act of kindness inspired by her example.
Rose (Mum/Nan) will be dearly missed, forever remembered, and always loved.

A Final Word
Thank you for taking a moment to remember Rose.
Rose's life was built on love, sacrifice, loyalty, and family. She gave so much of herself to those around her and asked for very little in return. The lessons she taught, the memories she created, and the love she shared continue to shape the lives of those fortunate enough to have known her.
Though her chair may now be empty and her voice missed, her presence remains in the hearts of her family every day.
The kettle may not be on quite as often now, but every cup of tea shared in her memory carries a little piece of Rose with it.
Rest peacefully, Mum.
You’re now back with Dad. You are both greatly missed, never forgotten and I cherish the day we can sit and have a cuppa and chat like we always did. Love you.
